Simple fun
In a world of expensive toys and technology, a little inflatable pool becomes a whole lot of fun. Easy to blow up... It took me less than ten minutes and with separate little extras, this has become a safe and sweet play pen for a 9 month old and can just add water for summer. It's nice to remember the simple pleasures in life.

Little beauty
I don't need colour correction but was led to try Lancome's City Miracle 01 when looking for a tinted moisturizer. It was a big departure from my aim but a happy result. The colour blends well with my medium olive skin and there are two darker shades in the range. Thick and viscous it applies to the skin well and smoothed out. Factor 50 is an added plus and I have since repurchased this product. One small downside is it is a little perfumed but I can put up with that given the other benefits.

Kitchen staple
Every kitchen should invest a little to get alot. This clay pot cooks a big atch of new potatoes in ten minutes with no water. The potatoes remain dry but perfectly soft. I love it and have been using one for 8 years. I am giving all my family one for their homes this Christmas.
