Perfect replacement!
The 'Full Keypad Case Housing Replacement Repair for Motorola HT1250 Radios' is a perfect replacement for a Motorola HT-1250. I purchased this refurbish kit for less than $10 and really expected some less-than-desireable made junk, but was I surprised! I am a licensed Extra Class ham radio operator and have a commercial (business band) repeater for my farming operations. I have an HT-1250 that had the limited keypad, just the six buttons right below the display screen. I needed the full keypad in order to easily send DTMF (telephone) tones to the repeater to turn it on and off should it hang-up or receive a lot of interference. This kit appears to be very well made, the housing as far as I can tell is exactly the same as the much higher costing "Big Name" housings. The case came with protective plastic on both sides of the display window and the identifying labels already in place. With this kit, you must use the internals from your radio, i.e. LCD screen, keypad logic board, speaker, mic, and ribbon cables. USE CAUTION when removing the LCD from the old housing as they are VERY easy to break, take the LCD out last using a razor to slice under the sticky foam that attaches it to the display window opening. I broke mine. Re-assembly was a breeze, and the fit was fantastic, actually just a bit snug but fit very well. Screw on the antenna, attach the battery, turn it on and guess what? The full keypad does not work. Again, no big deal, the keypad must be turned on with the programming software in order to use the numeric keypad. Plugged the radio into the software, made the change, now it works perfectly. I recommend this housing for anyone wishing to add the full keypad to their HT-1250.

Fits 2001 Dodge Ram 2500
I was skeptical of an APPS/TPS this cheap, since most auto parts houses want way over $100 for just the sensor. At $13.95 what did I have to lose, I've wasted a lot more on a lot less, I can't remember her name at the moment...... anyways, my truck had suffered from the sudden loss of throttle while driving or while sitting still high idling while the pedal was at a particular depth, making the idiot light in the dash come on. Six bolts, two torx head machine screws, unplug from the harness and it's off. The new one looks just like the old one, put it back on with the two machine screws, but don't tighten it down. To calibrate the new sensor, you'll need a multimeter to probe the back of number 3 hole in the plug, with the key off, install the plug, probe #3 and turn the key on but don't start. Rotate the sensor until the volt meter reads 0.55V, then tighten down carefully not to change the voltage. Turn the key off. Now reinstall the assembly, after it has been reinstalled, again turn on the key but don't start, slowly push the throttle pedal all the way down and slowly release, again turn off the key. Now, when you turn the key back on the "Trouble" light should go out and you are ready to go.
I've had the new sensor installed for two days now and so-far-so-good, this has resolved my problem. Only time will tell how long it will last, but I'm already impressed and pleased.

Outstanding power and light weight!
I have two Motorola HT-1250s, one for work (UHF) and the other (VHF) for Ham radio and my farming operations. Having previous experience with EBL batteries on a Baofeng BF-F8+, I jumped on the opportunity to power my Motorola HT-1250 with the same brand that has impressed me on the Baofeng. Having used these power hungry Motorola's for MANY years, I wasn't sure what to expect. I am VERY pleased with this battery. I received it in the mail and it went straight to the charger until full charged, then it went onto the radio with continuous scanning and moderate talking, the battery lasted almost 27 hours before the low battery alarm started chirping. I'll be purchasing another or maybe two or three or........ anyways, excellent battery for $20. Oh and the belt clip shown in the pictures is included! Can't beat this deal! Do yourself a favor, buy this battery!
