Über uns
Ende 2009 meldete der Tinten- und Tonerhändler InkStop Insolvenz an und schloss effektiv alle Standorte. Zu der Zeit war Charlie Schilla 18 Jahre alt und besuchte das College, beschloss aber, eine $300 Kreditkarte auszuschöpfen, um seinen Kofferraum mit so viel Inventar zu füllen, wie er bei der Auflösung seines lokalen InkStop-Händlers kaufen konnte. Er stellte den Warenbestand im Wert von 300 $ bei eBay ein und verkaufte ihn erfolgreich für 1.800 $. Mit $1.800 in bar in der Tasche ging Charlie zu einem anderen InkStop-Laden, kaufte Warenbestand im Wert von $1.800, stellte es bei eBay ein und machte einen weiteren Gewinn. Nach ein paar weiteren Spülungen und Wiederholungen musste Charlie in großen Mengen kaufen und beschloss, direkt zu InkStop’s Hauptsitz zu gehen und verhandelte einen Deal, um einen Teil ihres verbleibenden Inventars zu kaufen. Fünf Jahre später hatte Charlie sein Geschäft weiter ausgebaut und beschlossen, sein erstes Lager in Broadview Heights zu mieten, und effektiv wurde Supplyhut gegründet.
