The item was as described, and really helped keep the index's lenses centered over my eyes - and not moving around so much during normal use, like it tends to do for me. The instructions showed that the cable can be routed downward from the center, from the strapped weight on the back, but I found flipping that and routing it up works really well with how I have ceiling tethers to hold the cable above me.
