  The title of the listing said "oil painting canvas," and "canvas" was listed as the material in the item details. I paid top dollar for what I thought was a painting on stretched canvas, including $45 for shipping. What I received instead was a thin, cheap piece of foam board that was so creased and mangled from the poor packaging that it was unusable. To make matters worse, when I brought this to the seller's attention, he tried telling me that in Cuba "canvas" means foam board.

  I responded to you immediately. I offered you a partial refund you denied. You asked for a label, I replied to you with a label right away. Smooth. But obviously your the Same J21177 that I blocked a month earlier (a review or 2 below) on this same painting. This account ohj1771 hasn’t even been open a week (created September 1 2025)

  Maybe this goes without saying at this point, but if you read the comments left by this seller to my original feedback and that of another user, you can get a taste for what dealing with him has been like: threats of retaliation, wild accusations that I purposely damaged the painting that was delivered with creases in it or that I am conspiring with others to hurt his seller rating. I can only hope your first experience shopping on Ebay is better than mine!

  The seller cancelled my purchase only a few seconds after the auction ended, saying that the item was “out of stock or missing.” Either the listing was fraudulent to begin with or he is lying about the item in order to relist at a higher price. Avoid this scam artist!

  Be careful dealing with member buyer j21177 and his other account ohj1771. Not worth the sale or trouble he causes. Just problematic. All he’s looking for. Will recieve a damaged original Cuban painting back from him and was left 2 negative reviews under separate names. Not worth it.

  If only I could upload the screenshot of our message (as a seller). You messaged me I told you the truth I cancelled order and didn’t waste my time or yours and you were still reluctant to leave this petty review on a $10 purchase that you received your money back on. People I’ve been getting harassed here on Etsy online on my social media but please let’s use our intuition to judge correctly. There’s no need for any of this
