  Item was not well packaged. It was wrapped a few times in newspaper and placed in a large box with brown packing paper loosely around it. There was ample space in the box for the heavy 1.5 pound stone to knock around and it took quite a beating. Upon contacting seller, they blamed the postman for not handling the package with care. I have been buying stones/minerals online for years and have never received a stone this damaged/poorly packaged. Super disappointed. Do not recommend seller.

  I have been selling stones for over 15 years and know how to properly pack them. The stone was indeed wrapped in newspaper, but the box was filled with thick paper on the top, bottom, and sides. As I mentioned before, during transit, accidents can happen because packages are often handled carelessly. This can happen to anyone at any time. While it’s not common, it is a possibility.
