They offered to cancel and give a full refund, or send the item with a partial refund which is what I chose. The item is great, and I can sew the flawed portion back up.   Arrived in very good used vintage condition exactly as described. Clean, no splits,stains, odours, holes, or broken studs. Packaged carefully and thoughtfully. Will buy again. Shipping was not ridiculously exhoribitant it was it was moderate, expensive for 1X 12" dolls dress, light weight! Seller recommended.
