Persson Rare Minerals LLC is a small Denver, Colorado-based company specializing in fine and unusual mineral, ore, and rock specimens for the collectors, academics, and museums. Founded in 2012 by Phil Persson, Persson Rare Minerals builds on almost 20 years of collecting, buying, and selling mineral specimens.

Persson Rare Minerals strives to offer unusual, unique specimens which “stand out from the crowd”, and come with both a historical and scientific background that makes them more than just “pretty rocks.” Persson Rare Minerals looks forward to being a vendor at major gem and mineral shows in the USA and abroad, in addition to online sales and semi-annual road trips to visit customers and museums around the USA.

    Been looking for one of these for some time and this is quite a specimen of one. Quite nice for the price and arrived as-shown and described! Packaged very neatly with all the other rocks I ordered and was able to combine shipping on. Got here within a week from ship date!

    Shipping is always quick from Persson Rare Minerals. Packaging was bomb-proof, as always. The specimen is a very nice small slab, polished to highlight mineral content, exatly as described and pictured. This high value specimen now has a prominent place in my Colorado minerals display.

    The item was as described and is a terrific value from a famous mine operated during WWII in central Idaho. The packing was very professional and shipping was prompt. Once again this seller nails it. i could not be happier and will buy from this seller many more times in the future.
