I have been a collector of vintage items since I started this obsession in my college years. I have always preferred one-of-a-kind pieces versus modern furniture, accents, etc., that can easily be purchased at any retail store. Most of the fun I experience with this hobby is during "the hunt" when I am searching for cool items, but I also love giving them a new life, as most of my collection are items come from sellers that have understimated their beauty, rarity and charm.     The seller sent a plate instead of the platter that I had ordered. I notified the seller and eBay. The seller responded, saying to keep the plate, that they would send the platter and asked that I cancel the return I had requested on eBay. I received the platter in good condition i canceled my return request with eBay. This seller did everything that he said he would do. I would use this seller again. This platter, a Russell Wright design and color, that my mother purchased in the 1940s. Thanks
