More Than Words ist ein gemeinnütziges Programm zur Entwicklung von Arbeitskräften und Jugendvertretung, das jedes Jahr fast 350 Jugendlichen dient. Wir sind ein von Jugendlichen geführtes Unternehmen, das Jugendliche befähigt, die Verantwortung für ihr Leben zu übernehmen, indem es die Verantwortung für ihre Buchhandlungen übernimmt. Wir arbeiten mit den am stärksten gefährdeten jungen Erwachsenen im Großraum Boston: denen, die im Pflegesystem sind, vor Gericht beteiligt sind, obdachlos oder außerhalb der Schule sind. Bei More Than Words verdienen sie einen bezahlten Job und erlernen kritischen Kundenservice, Technologie, Bestandsverwaltung und Führungsqualitäten. Sie arbeiten auch an ihrem „DU“-Job, besuchen Workshops und Besuche vor Ort und erhalten gezielte Unterstützung, um sicherzustellen, dass sie in der Schule bestehen bleiben und Pläne für ihre zukünftige Arbeit, Bildung und ihr Leben planen. Unsere Jugendlichen tauchen auf, geben und erhalten Bewertungen und führen Gleichaltrige. Nach 6-12 Monaten Gewohnheitsbildung, Kompetenzaufbau in unserem Kernprogramm unterstützen wir unsere Absolventen weiterhin dabei, messbare, positive Ergebnisse zu erzielen.

Packaging was light; there was a cut through the plastic bag from processing or other, and nothing there else to protect it, but thankfully, it made it fine. That's lucky. The book was in very good condition, as described, except that the bottom corners (front and back) were bent. This could have occurred during shipping, because the book was shipped in a thin plastic bag. I wish sellers would use more protective packaging to avoid damage during shipping. Other than that, this was a good experience, and I would buy from this seller again. I gave 5 stars because the excellent price made up for the minor damage.
