Hi! My name is Donna. I am married to a Navy veteran, and together we are working to build a self-sustaining life on our homestead. I wanted to be a fashion designer, but life took me in another direction. I am a retired Surgical Technologist of over 30 years.

I have been a nature lover my whole life. I was taught from a very young age by my grandfather to reuse, recycle, and to plant gardens. As a young mother, I hated to see all the items that I was taking to recycling, so I decided to see how I could cut down on waste. The simple answer was to cook from scratch, and grow what we ate. Doing so really cut down on waste, and was tastier and healthier!

To help fund our homestead, I decided to put my love of thrifting to good use, and started buying and reselling (mostly clothing). I feel as though I am helping to keep items from the landfill.
