  The seller describes this cross as "12th century Romanesque from Umbria, Italy" .A more accurate description might have been: 'A modern machine-engraved lithograph, printed on a metallic plate, of a 12th century Italian crucifix, with wood pulp composition backing. Secure packaging. Prompt delivery. Thank you. While I didn't expect an early painting of this famous crucifix, I also didn't expect to be sent its latest reproduction, even though it was reasonably priced and in excellent condition.
