  Packed well, inside a plastic dust cover with thick cardboard backing. However if there was a way to unpack the magazine without tearing the dust sleeve, I couldn't find it. Item was in good shape as shown in the pictures, and shipped fast. Was perhaps a bit pricey, but the seller agreed to a best offer equal to a prior sale that expired.

  Again very well packaged and presented. Also again arrived slightly earlier than the estimated date of arrival. One thing, the package was put into the care and finally delivered by Evri not the courier you specified for delivery. Although their two day delivery time became three days, and Evri’s tracking was poor, their customer service support was surprisingly excellent .

  I'm VERY happy with this lovely Marilyn cover magazine of LIFE - August 17, 1962! 😊Plus, it has no subscription label, which I dislike on my collectibles. Beautiful quality, value and in great condition! I had great communication with the seller and he was very nice about everything. Great at packaging this lovely magazine very safe and securely.   This is my first time purchasing from this seller, but it will not be my last. Magazine arrived in better than newsstand condition, packaged securely so that it stayed that way (which is no easy task with a large, awkward sized issue) and all at a more than fair price. I definitely recommend this seller.
