  You didn't receive one in white because you received it unpainted. It was never going to be painted to begin with, you received one in white instead of black because it is ILLEGAL to ship you a black prop gun in your state.

  The item itself seems of good quality, and will solve my problem (though it's not the color shown). However, the item was not shipped promptly--in fact it didn't make it into the mail until I specifically asked on the day it was supposed to arrive. I shouldn't have had to monitor this, and the seller didn't communicate at all about their mistake until prompted.
