I got introduced to rugs by marriage, my husband is a 3rd generation rug maker, and I fell in love with this visually expressive art form. Fed up with my grabbing rugs for home use, he invited me to join him at work and I accepted.
I started as a designer making one-of-a-kind pieces but with the arrival of my little one, I became a full-time mommy and am now trying to become a part-time online rug seller.
