I named my store, back in the 1980's, Jonesantiques. I know - not very clever. But I was on the spot, when someone asked me my store name, and it was the best I could come up with in the moment. I am a lot of things ... old single lady-who-lives-with-cats, but not witty. My cats don't seem to care! I have been an antiques dealer since 1980 and an Ebay dealer since 1999.
My items are a bit more expensive, but you will find that they are well worth it. I know a lot about the items I sell, and guarantee authenticity. I try and buy only items that are in excellent (vintage) condition. This means that they will show their age (called patina, the aged look things get over time), but won't be damaged or broken. I also describe my items thoroughly. I will tell you the history and describe it completely. You won't get bad surprises from me!
