The Humane Society of Putnam County's mission is to improve the lives of animals through advocacy, education and support in Putnam County. We help fund the animal shelter, completely fund a spay/neuter program for all residents of the county, are responsible for finding homes for the cats and dogs at the shelter, run a trap, neuter and release program for feral cats and work to educate the community about how to properly care for our pets.

The Humane Society of Putnam County is a 501C3 partnership between the government run animal control and the privately run humane society. All proceeds to fund the Putnam County Humane Society are obtained through community donations to our store, which are then re-sold to the public. Our eBay store contains unique items that were given to us by local community members. Every penny that comes in through this eBay store goes to support the mission of the Putnam County Humane Society. That includes helping local residents spay/neuter their animal by providing vouchers good for $150 off of the surgery. We also run a Trap/Neuter/release program for feral cats in the county, and we directly support all happenings at the local Humane Society. Your support of our store helps us to support our missions of making life better for the animals of Putnam County Indiana. The animals of Putnam County appreciate it.
