Hooch's Mama evolved approximately 15 years ago when I decided to leave the corporate banking industry and open a retail "brick & mortar store. It had been something I had wanted to do for a long time and so I jumped in headfirst. There were two things I had a passion for (other than my husband and family) and that was great design, whether it be in personal style or home furnishings, and my precious little dog named "Hooch" and that is how the name of my store was created! After having a very successful store for a few years the economy tanked and because my store was located in a coastal town the unthinkable happened. There was a huge Oil Spill off shore and because my business was from the tourist industry my little store came to a screeching stop. Our beaches weren't safe for tourist to come so after exhausting all efforts I had to cut my losses and close my store but I've keep going through the years and decided recently to bring Hooch's Mama back with the help of EBAY!
