My knives are a personal collection, no knife company nor retail outlet backstops me. My knives are factory made, not custom builds, few are perfect. All of my knives have been in climate controlled storage for 20 years or more, some much longer. Sometimes the storage shows, e.g., traces of tarnish have occasionally crept into the brass liners, especially the back and top. Usually I've been able to identify knives with defects and sell them as discounted "BLEMISHES", but not always.
