It actually was 6 pieces. and the inner piece would not allow the original stud lengths within the "mounting portion half's limits". I didn't want to modify my antique's original studs. Seller was involved seeking solutions. with frequent communications. Good seller.

FedEx had to relabel the package 2 different times because of some sort of labeling issue. Blades were securely and safely wrapped inside the box but the box wasn't very good quality so maybe that was the problem.
