Mein Vater war Uhrmacher, in der Zeit, als keine Batterien in Uhren verwendet wurden. Er legte mir Werkzeuge in die Hand, bevor ich überhaupt meinen Namen schreiben konnte. Ich bin jetzt im Ruhestand, nach zu vielen Jahren in der IT, und habe endlich Freude daran, mit meinen Händen statt mit einer Tastatur zu arbeiten. Ich verbringe praktisch jeden Tag Zeit in meinem kleinen 12x20 Laden zum Drehen von Stiften auf einer Drehmaschine. Es funktioniert nicht, wenn Sie Spaß an dem haben, was Sie tun.
Letztes Jahr habe ich Exotic Woods aus der ganzen Welt vorgestellt, um einige erstaunliche Stifte herzustellen. Jetzt haben wir auch Paua Shells, Awabi Perlmutt, Leiterplatten sowie viele neue Federfässer, entworfen von geschickten Künstlern, die sich auf Pen Blanks für schöne Designer-Stifte spezialisiert haben. Es hält die Dinge interessant und es macht Spaß, neue Artikel zu erstellen und sie dem Pen Shop hinzuzufügen.
Ich wünsche Ihnen genauso viel Spaß und Freude mit meinen Stiften wie ich.
