Ich bin seit 2001 bei eBay. Ich kaufe und verkaufe gerne Sportkarten. Die Aufschlüsselung nach Sportarten beträgt 65 % Basketball, 30 % Football, LF und 5 % alles andere. Ich mache das als Hobby, nicht als Lebensunterhalt. Obwohl ich das gerne eines Tages verfolgen würde, wird meine Frau die Idee im Moment nicht einmal unterhalten :). Wie Sie feststellen werden, ist der Großteil von dem, was ich verkaufe, Low-End, mit einigen mittleren Sachen gemischt. Aufgrund steigender Versandkosten und der Tatsache, dass ich Karten mit geringem Wert verkaufe, versende ich als Faustregel jede Karte, die ich einzeln für unter $20 verkaufe, über den eBay Standard Envelope Shipping with Tracking ($1,25). Ich stecke die Karte in eine Penny-Hülle, dann in eine Kartenschonerhülle oder einen Toploader, dann in eine Team-Tasche und klebe sie dann in zwei dünne Kartonstücke; zweitens - ich bevorzuge es, USPS Ground Advantage in einem Luftpolsterversand zu versenden, wenn die Karte über $20 oder auf Anfrage ($4,50) kostet.
