  The David Winters piece arrived well boxed and packaged. I rated shipping time as 4 stars only because it arrived 4 days later than expected stated date. I received two messages stating that the item was "held up in transit" but did arrive on my doorstep this morning. I opened the box but decided to leave the packaging as it was as it will be put under the Christmas tree for one of my wife's gifts. I am assuming it is as advertised.
