It was safely packaged though the original packing was a bit beat up, the produce is new, sound quality far exceeds my expectations, and this will be perfect for when we have power outages or when out gardening this summer! Tested all the features with my mother (who also bought one) Very happy with my purchase! Was expecting it to be darker in color though like the picture!
