Ornament was loosely wrapped in thin foam sheet in its own box within another larger box. Not sure if problem was with type of glue used and/or not wrapped tightly in bubble wrap for shipping. I contacted the seller by email with pictures (slow to respond to ebay messages). Happy they sent a no cost replacement that came packaged the same way but arrived intact.
