  This is one of the most arrogant sellers I have bought from. I had to pay import VAT twice for the item because the seller didn't bother use the information from Ebay, that they allready had charged the import VAT, when he shipped. (That was more or les what he wrote when I contacted him for an explanation). That cost me extra $31,76 for an item sold for $32 The only good was that the item was as described.

  Not sure why buyer chose to pay the VAT through eBay, but not use Global Shipping. I suggest that all foreign buyers work these things out with sellers prior to payment. Like many individual sellers, I just ship the item. I do not follow what each country charges for VAT/customs, if anything. If you want to pay VAT through eBay, use the Global Shipping program where it is integrated. Buyer still got record for less than retail after allegedly paying double VAT and postage.
