  The lens was well packed. It was wrapped first in shrink wrap, then a layer of bubble wrap, and then in a box with newspaper stuffing. Great packaging. The free shipping great, it came across country and got delivered 2 days before another lens purchased the day prior from much closer arrived. The lens itself is in good condition. There is a very mild amount of spot fungus near or on the front element, which wasn't mentioned in the listing. Overall still worth what I paid for it.
