But the item description specified "no missing or damaged pages," and there is what appears to be substantial water or humidity damage to the back half of the pages (they are permanently deformed); this was not visible in the photos provided in the item listing. It's still readable, and dust jacket is in good condition, but book overall is not what I consider to be "Very Good" condition. Packaging is pristine, so book was not damaged in transit.

  After starting to read this book, water damage is more extensive than it first appeared. All pages are permanently warped, there is visible staining on page edges of book, and visible staining inside the dust jacket. Readable, but far from Very Good condition as described. None of this damage was visible in listing photos or noted by seller in description.
