Almost perfect!
This is the first laser measurer that has large enough type and a bright enough screen for me. And the text automatically rotates if you are holding the unit sideways. That is genius! the level is super handy, the ability to calculate distances with triangulation is cool. The bluetooth and phone app works but isn't quite as intuitive and user friendly as I would like. If I used it every day, I might get used to it. Now if only it used a green laser instead of a red one, it would be perfect. I'm red deficient color blind and the red laser is very difficult to see sometimes.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Works well, easy to read
This is my third Bosch. They last for about two years and then I need to replace it. I use it every day for work. My one complaint with this one is that once you change it to a different setting it should stay there until you change it again. Instead ,every time I turn it on again I have to change the setting. It would be nice if the unit itself had some kind of milk click on it so that as I’m working I can quickly put it on my belt before going to the next room. I am carrying a lot of things my hands and it’s difficult and time-consuming to have to put it back in the case to do that. Best laser measurement tool for the money
As a contractor finding area and volume is almost a daily task. The GLM 50 has all the features I need in a laser measuring tool. The app is really handy for looking at a long list of measurements, 30 in fact. I have not used the floor plan tools yet, but i see that it could come in handy for the right project. This thing is the bee's knees!
This little device is great at readings down to the 1/32" and except for some minor alignment issues with the base it is exactly what you'd expect. Bosch integrated some good features in this model and I am excited I forked out a bit extra to get the 165-foot range model. It is useful for lawn/yard purposes (with that distance) as well as construction purposes. Currently, I'm using it to get detailed measurements for cutting blocking between joists. BOSCH GLM50 GREAT BUY
Product is great and works as advertised. I bought this laser measure to measure a kitchen and mount some wireless access points using the stake out feature lets you set your desired distance and beep when it is reached awesome feature for a no look installation set it and forget it. Connecting to app was easy. Device appears durable could withstand maybe a 5ft drop. Con: battery life is not great make sure you have extra batteries on hand if you plan to have continuous use or remove batteries when not in use due to the power button is easily triggered if pressed up against something in your bag. Battery compartment door latch is flimsy and feels like it willl break if pulled to hard, and holster appears to be holding up belt loop will break with enough pressure. Big things come in small packages!
Extremely useful! Tons of features and I used most of them within the first few days of getting it. Checked and rechecked and the measurements are dead on, angle is super accurate and love how compact it is. The stud layout feature is really cool too. Needed this !
I have used older type before, this has a lot more features for its size, clear screen for measurements, Bluetooth enable, plus the App. Price and value, can’t beat this, only complaint, is that the case is a very tight fit.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Fantastic measuring at a fantastic price.

Perfect for Techie Homeowners
I'm an IT guy so when I saw this advertised online I knew I had to buy it for the new house we just purchased. I had tons of rooms I needed measured for paint, flooring and furniture layouts. I connected the Bluetooth to my iPad and walked around the house shooting accurate laser measurements and creating detailed blueprints with the free Bosch software. This made my life so much easier when picking up paint and knowing how many gallons I needed or cross checking the carpet installers quote with my own measurements.
