EXCELLENT PURCHASE
VERY GOOD ZOOM LENS. I USE IT ON A PENTAX K3 (APSC) SO AT 320 mm IT PROVIDES THE FIELD OF VIEW OF A 500 mm (FF 35 mm EQUIVALENT). I USE IT BETWEEN f/8 AND f/13 ON A TRIPOD AND I GET EXCELLENT RESULTS. SUPERB COLORS AND CONTRAST, GREAT SHAPRNESS. AN EXCELLENT VALUE. IT COMPLETES MY "TRAVEL KIT" : ONE FA 20-35 mm WIDE-ANGLE, ONE FA 28-70 NORMAL AND ONE 80-320 TELEPHOTO. RICHARD

Pentax 80 - 320 zoom lens
This review only rates the lens I had, not all Pentax 80 - 320 lenses. This lens was very nice mechanically, but had optical problems. I think that the Pentax 80-320 zoom lens is a good lens but it is older and some might have problems and some might be excellent.
