Altglas vom Feinsten
Arbeite meistens mit Festbrennweiten zwischen Ultraweitwinkel und Porträt, "Ofenrohre" sind mir ein Greuel. Für die Aufgaben, die eine lange Brennweite verlangen, sollte es also kein unhandlicher Brummer sein, den ich aus Bequemlichkeit zu Hause lasse. Das Minolta 100-300mm APO-D ist ein schön kompaktes Vollformat-Dreifachtelezoom mit dem Minolta-MD-Bajonett, das mit dem Sony A-Mount identisch ist. Die mechanische Verarbeitung ist sehr gut, die optische Qualität ist m. E. mit denen aktueller Zooms der 300€-Klasse vergleichbar. Die Schärfe ist bei kurzer und mittlerer Brennweite sehr gut und läßt nur am oberen Ende etwas nach. Verwende das Minolta 100-300 APO-D mit einem 20€-E-Mont/NEX-Adapter an einer Sony A7II. Auf den Autofokus verzichte ich ganz, habe deswegen auf die Ausführung "D" geachtet, die einen griffigen Scharfeinstellring hat. Undervalued Beauty
I just received a Minolta 100-300 lens in excellent condition. I think it's a highly underrated piece of glass for the price (35.00). The mechanics are first rate and the autofocus under the right conditions is also excellent especially on a sony a7ii with the laea4 adapter. Best value zoom!

Terrific value
Lightweight and saturated colors. Not like the G series lenses-- pretty sure this is a Tokina design, sold as a less expensive Minolta-- but a good compromise.
