Carl Zeiss Distagon 28/2.8
I love this lens. I assume it's durable. I don't even know why they ask that. It's such a beautiful focal length, wide, but not so wide you can't see anything. I feel so comfortable with it. I know people say we naturally see in 35mm focal length, but I think 28mm is closer. It has a spaciousness to it, a feeling of not being hemmed in, like a feeling of freedom. It's just this side of the Super-Angulon. It's really nice without being kind of I hate to say overdone, because I love the Super-Angulon, but almost enough is enough. One of the best 28mm out there
One of the best 28mm lens one could get for full frame cameras. Use cases exclude non stabilized night photography (due to 2.8 aperture) and where extreme corner sharpness is required, where a similar Nikon with floating element would be better.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Heavy but Sturdy
This is a very well constructed lens, both mechanically and optically. It is larger and heavier than other 28mm lenses of this aperture. But on the positive side, this makes it easier to adjust the focus and aperture.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

This is a very good lens.
Contax Zeiss lenses are famous for the optical performance and build quality. This lens is particularly known for sharpness and beautiful color rendering. These older lenses don't have autofocus capabilities nor are they weather sealed, but other that that it is a perfect wide angle lense for the money. One thing that will set apart this lens from newer lenses is the organic feel they produce, this lens doesn't have that sterile sharpness.
