The Planar T lens, originally developed by Carl Zeiss, is one of the most successful camera lenses ever made, and the Contax 45mm f/2.0 G version lives up to expectations. This is a very fast lens and a high-performance option even in low-light situations. The large aperture delivers the best results when shooting without the best light sources. The lens design is a simple six-element optical formula in four groups, and the f/2.0 offers stunning natural perspectives as well. Love it...
I've had four of these lenses. When I had my first, it was lost and I immediately replaced it. About four years ago, I sold my Contax G1 Kit and the lens with it.
