Unit came with almost no padding or protection in the box. It was loose inside of the box. Does not work.
I thought I would purchase the unit because it was cheap. The unit does not work at all. I downloaded all the software and drivers. My PC recognizes that the unit is attached. When I attempt to scan something, I get an error message to Release the lock switch, detach the USB cable and reconnect. I followed the instructions and no matter what position the lock switch on the bottom is in, it does not get past this error.

Disappointed
This device works fine, but is good only for photos one at a time. I was hoping to use it to make a single pdf from multiple pages, but this makes JPEG images and I haven't figured out how make a single file of several images and to them make them "searchable" using OCR. COMPACT SCANNER
