Classic Pokemon turn table play!
This game is classic. The beauty of pokemon is it is timeless! The turn table style is easy to do for any age group and is nostalgic for someone older like myself. I rate it 10/10. Can't help but be bias for the nostalgia lol

Great Pokemon Adventure
I had Diamond back when it came out but my recent quest to play every main series Pokemon game led me to buying Pearl. Exactly what players had come to expect from a Pokemon adventure at the time, though looking back I've noticed that the battle system is a tad slow (something they fixed in Platinum). Would recommend for someone who is already a Pokemon fan but newer players might find it confusing in comparison to Sun/Moon.

First Pokemon game for Nintendo DS
I thought this would be a great way to get back into Pokémon, this time on the Nintendo DS and as an adult! Pearl version is great because you as a Pokémon trainer have been given a research project for the Pokedex system by the professor to fill it with any Pokémon you catch and/or find. I like the fact you can put your name into the game itself or personalise your Pokémon pets names. Fab anime graphics, music followed by awesome locations and gameplay. The save mode is excellent as it allows you to dip in and out of your adventure as you go along! I will get the White version at a later date to compliment this in my Nintendo DS game library. Thank you for the excellent Pokémon Pearl
