Saturate the stack tube of this Vox Guitar Amp Combo with the Post-phase-inverter master volume, which fills up the tube without affecting the frequency response or loss of tone. Having True bypass variable-level effects loop, you can change the audio pitch level of this Electric Guitar Amplifier. Competent
Smaller than two 9-volt batteries laid end to end, the AC30 competently delivers a portable personal practice space. With the capability to plug in an external music source, it provides the ability to jam with your favorite music practically anywhere, and with instant portability. My only complaint: it could be a good bit louder, especially when the gain is rolled back. Still, I love how I can now play anywhere I choose to, and take the jams with me, all without irritating even people sitting right next to me. Nice headphone amp!
I was looking for something to plug my guitar into for those moments of inspiration without having to drag out an amp and mess with cords. Also, I wanted something so that I was the only one who could hear my mistakes! This is a great little headphone amp! The sound is bright, and there are a lot of effects that can be accessed by pressing two buttons. It can get down and dirty when you want it to be! There are two suggestions I might make to Vox: The plug is a little flimsy and you have to jiggle it sometimes to make it connect, and in a Strat-style guitar, the wheels that control volume, tone and gain are on the bottom where you can't see them. not bad not bad

Headphone Amp
For those of you that want to jam, but in an apartment, or bedroom, don't want to bother anyone....or play out in the park....this cannot be beat. Vox amplug AC30

Great growl
There have been a lot of bad attempts to provide enough quality and variation in a tiny format. In this case, the old design is proving itself -- great tone and enough tweak available in each setting that I find myself playing it longer. Battery life is great (I use Sony mini earbuds, very efficient and deep without distortion). The preamp is very tube-like... turn down the axe and it cleans up nice. Has a bit of natural compression. Best deal in town

I don't know where to begin...
