Well worth watching.
An old movie that has a lot going for it. It has real humor, sarcasm, wit, romance, very good acting, especially Marlon Brando. It touches on real life, comparing and contrasting the hurried and crazy pace of Americans vs. some of the more relaxed, co-operative and meditative aspects of the Japanese of the time period. The movie keeps me laughing and leaves me at the end feeling good. A step back into a simpler time. (As a side note, the movie has Eddie Albert wanting to be an organic farmer, rather than performong a more "respected" profession long before he portrayed a similar role in the tv show "Green Acres".)Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Great Movie, bad DVD
