Some wonderful movies
This collection would be a wonderful introduction to Jimmy Stewart’s work, but it would be important to note the absence of collaborations with directors like Howard Hawks and Frank Capra or actors like John Wayne, Cary Grant, or Katherine Hepburn. A standout of this collection is the surreal Harvey, which was really decades ahead of its time!

Buy This Set!
You're considering buying this set because you love all or most of the movies contained in it. The only issue, therefore, is the quality of the transfers. So far, we have only watched "Harvey" and my review is based only on that and not the other four films. That said, "Harvey" looked great. It appears it was taken from a very-clean master. The images are sharp and sound quality is good. Lastly, the packaging is quite nice with blurbs on each of the films.

James Stewart Hollywood Legend Collection
We had seen these movies when they first came out many years ago and enjoyed them very much. It was such a surprise and a pleasure to find them all together in one package. We've watched each one again and find them to still be very entertaining. If you're a Jimmy Stewart fan, you won't be disappointed

Its Jimmy Stewart.
John Wayne was great in westerns but only James Stewart could win a Winchester '73, have a pooka friend named Harvey, get the beautiful blond girl in two Hitchcock films and be an Air Force general.
