Great multicoating
Almost all filters will protect your lens without optically distorting the image. However, most inexpensive filters have inferior multi-coating, and reflections will show up in your pictures when you shot towards lights. The Hoya filters have very good multi-coating. A simple test is to hold the filter at an angle and look at the reflection of a nearby light bulb. If the reflection is faint, you have good multi-coating. Matches Higher Priced Filters

Good protection / weather sealing for expensive glass

Looks different from other Hoya filters I use
The circle around the glass is thicker (the one enclosing the glass) and.the frame is smooth metal, not matte non slippery and non reflecting. The glass seems OK, but in general I am not sure what to think. Country of origin is not stated on the case.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
