Wow!
This is an amazing series. The bluray is an amazing visual and all the bonus features makes this collection an excellent value and a wonderous addition to any collection...as long as your collection isn't full of Carebears and My Little Pony. Amazing cinematography and storylines, few franchises hold up to such extension in legnth. Essentially 8 movies and scads of extras.

The extras alone are worth the set.
The book like case is gorgeous with art and movie stills for each movie included in this set. Each movie contains commentary and where applicable another version of the movie. All the special features included in the DVD's are here with a lot more added just for this set. All together you get two of the greatest sci-fi horror / action movies ever made in Alien and Aliens, Alien3 which is worth watching just for the stunning 5.1 surround sound and my least favorite Alien film Alien Resurrection.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Alien Anthology (2010) > Alien Quadrilogy (2003)
This is the better version of Alien Quadrilogy. The difference is that for the 2003 Quadrilogy there were problems with the dialogue, especially in Alien 3 Workprint Cut. For this 2010 Anthology, they re-hired the original actors to re-record the dialogue that was missing. All 4 have director's cuts, but the third one REALLY needed it. A must for Alien fans.
A great addition to any Blu Ray collection. Fantastic transfers of some of the greatest movies in sci fi and horror cinema history in this definitive addition. Includes both the cinematic and directors cuts on each disc.Jammed with extra features and insightful information on accompanying discs. Worth the price if the price is low enough.
Great set that basically gathers all the DVD and laserdisc extras together in one set . Along with the extended cuts of the movies. Alien+Blu-ray=pure enjoyment!
The movie alien speaks for itself but on Blu-ray it is so much more define. No one can be more of a fan then I and I hesitated in buying this edition... This beautiful packaged set is all you need! I know they have others that include AVP or the Prometheus and Covenant Film BUT! If your just a simple fan of these 4, this set was done perfect and nicely!
