The Tektronix 2246 Oscilloscope clearly delivers analog signals as it comes with a 100 MHz bandwidth and has 3.5 ns rise time. It has a 5.12-inch P31 phosphor CRT display that shows the menu and waveform measurements. It's a good old scope
This is an old scope and mine, like many of them, arrived with a couple of problems that needed attention. 1. The cooling fan was dead. As cooling is important, the scope would shut off after just a couple of minutes running without cooling. This was fairly easy to fix once I found the old fan I simply swapped it with one that I scavenged from a PC power supply. 2. The backup battery seems to be dead. This means I have to go through the self-calibration routine every time I turn on the scope. Not a huge issue, just an annoyance. Hopefully I can find a replacement battery that is suitable and not too difficult to install. Other than these issues the scope performs wonderfully. Your mileage may vary. Given it's age there are many more things that could go wrong, however, it's a well made scope (one of the best) and it is still very repairable. Most of the components can be found and there is extensive documentation on how to repair common issues. So if you can handle repairing it yourself then I highly recommend this scope, you won't find one much better from any decade: really don't make them like this anymore.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Perfectly new in original unopened packaging!
Great scope, all functions are working as expected. Calibration is still good, even after 26 years! I'm really happy to have made the choice to buy this "new" scope instead of a refurb. Item Fit Description Perfectly
Scope arrived and is in new condition as advertised. All items that would arrive with a new scope came with this one as stated. Spent all afternoon letting it run on a signal generator using various signals and checking all channels on the scope. Everything seems in working order. It's a darn good 'scope
The Tek 2246A is easy to use and packed with features. There are a few of these floating around that are still NIB. The USAF bought them in the late 80s and stored them, very well I might add. There are two versions, one with a silver oxide battery that will eventually burst and leak, and one with a lithium battery that will not. If you need a 4 channel analog scope, get one of these. Beautiful Scope,

Great scope
I've always liked this series of TEK analog scopes. Very intuitive controls, especially with the delay trigger functions. Probably the best performance you'll ever see in this price range.
