The best sound card of all time
This is the only X-Fi sound card with Windows 10 ready drivers. The X-Fi processor family, featured on Creative Audigy, X-Fi, and Auzentech sound cards, is the only one capable of true hardware accelerated sound. Thus it is the only sound card DSP that actually provides improvements over software acceleration (e.g. built-in software acceleration in games that have it, or OpenAL Soft), and those improvements are massive. Only games using the OpenAL or DirectSound3D sound API (the latter must be converted to OpenAL on Windows Vista and above, using Creative ALchemy) offer these improvements, but this means almost all PC games from the late 1990s to the late 2000s allow sound cards like this one to shine. The Titanium HD is not only the only X-Fi card with Windows 10 drivers, it is the best X-Fi card ever released. The DAC quality and SNR are equal to the Creative Sound Blaster ZxR and ASUS Xonar Essence series. It also features upgradable opamps, the stock ones being better than the ones found in most other sound cards. It does not require a power connector and utilizes the PCI-E x1 interface, so it can fit into any PCI-E slot. Its downsides are that has no headphone amp, no analog surround sound connectivity (but you should never hook up a surround sound system directly to a sound card), and is limited to 5.1 surround.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Great sound card!
