A Favorite from 1979
If you are a aging baby boomer like me, then this was the album that wrapped up the 70s. What a great album and such good songs. For my 58th birthday, I purchased a pair of Magnepan MMG speakers and some hefty power amplifiers. When I played my standard edition of Breakfast in America CD, which had been printed over 25 years ago, it sounded weak and flacid. After some quick research online, it turned out that the MMGs were exposing the weaknesses in the original recording,which is why I purchased this remastered album. My goodness, what a huge difference in the sound quality. I have begun replacing all my other favorites with remasters, including Earth, Wind and Fire's Greatest HIts, which had the identical problem and was resolved with a Sony remaster from Germany.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Supertramp remastered cd
Poor remastering. Original vinyl and CDs are better.... sorry to say. Harsh treble and sizzle.. Don't play this on a high resolution hi-fi. Will brighten up a dull system !Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Loved it!
I started to return this cd because I had purchased "the very best of Supertramp." I'm so glad that I didn't since this cd had songs on it that are not on the very best of cd.
