Flashy is asked to perform a "most delicate task" in Germany... Otto Von Bismark has great plans too.
The second installment of the Flashman memoirs and imho the best (it was also the only one to be made into a film in the 1970s starring the perfectly cast Malcolm Macdowell as Flashy, and Oliver Reed as Bismark). This ripping yarn sees Flashy lured to Germany to perform a mission of "a most delicate nature" and to say more would spoil it! It's a cracking reea most of the twelve are, but there are a few duds).
