Beautiful Memories.
This book brings wonderful memories of my childhood. I used to learn the little fairies' poems. Each flower fairy has it's own description and tells us information about the flower. Sometimes there is danger if you touch the plant, but that Fairy tells us so then we know we have to be careful. I learnt so much about wild plants when I was a child. Flower Fairies
I was bought Flower Fairies of the Spring in 1947 aged 4 years l had the whole series I still have them .Wonderful books give much botanical knowledge a s well as being appealing to children. Absolutely "fitted the bill"
I had a smaller version of this book, as a child in the 50s, my neighbour's granddaughter was seven and she likes fairys. I always remembered the detailed illustrations, and how magical they seemed. So when this second hand book arrived I was very pleasantly surprised at both the size and the condition, which was virtually new, with the dustcover complete.
