Open world, third person shooter with optional co-op.
The game simply is one of the best games I've played. I was not fond of shooting games but this one I just can't pass up. The third person view helped with that, but there is no option for first person for those who like FPS games. I love the open world setting, the map is huge, lots of bases take over and cities/towns to explore. The game also has lots of collectibles which is a plus for looter-shooter fanatics. There are lots of main missions with varying degrees of difficulty along with side mission in every district. The game keeps on updating with new mission and gear. You can also customize you character's appearance along with the different paints and patterns and upgrades for guns. You can approach the game in almost anyway you like, you can jump from a chopper and go guns blazing or be stealthy using sniper rifles with synchronized shooting with your 3 AI buddies, it's totally up to you. Co-op is optional and fun. Also, Predator is here! And Punisher actor guy. Only thing I don't like is that you cannot climb all obstacles or rocks which will sometimes get you stuck in between rocks, other than that the game is perfect!

i don't buy a lot of games but i played the demo of this game and wanted to buy this
like my title says, i don't usually buy many games because i don't have much time to play them anymore. however, i downloaded the demo for this a few months ago and remembered that i enjoyed playing it. recently, i thought if i buy a new video game it would help me to abstain from going out and spending too much money. so i was thinking about new games to buy and that is when i remembered enjoying this game. so i went ahead a bought Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands for my PS4. the game is still being sold for full price but this seller had a great deal going for a brand new, still sealed copy for $20 less than most others. it was the best deal i could find at the time. i really enjoy playing it. i've played it about 3 weekends now. the map is huge so i will have many more weekends to stay in and play. although, i do notice it is a little repetitive. you ultimately just go around and stealthily kill cartel members. and that's about it. granted, difficulty varies between different parts of the map and the type of cartel member you are facing. also, it's just the regular henchmen that are dispersed mostly throughout the game that are repetitive. i faced off against one boss so far and that was one of the more fun missions to play. so although slightly repetitious in some areas they still give a lot of changes when advancing the story missions. there are also tons of features/tools to unlock. one new feature i really enjoy is the drone you get to use to stealthily survey enemies in your area. and as you keep playing you can unlock more featurettes such as drone range, stealth, team resistance. so that helps keep gameplay fun. i haven't had to chance to play online yet but i recently got an email from Ubisoft or whoever made the game. in the email it stated it was having a beta testing for Ghost Recon: Wildlands with an online 4vs4 PVP (player vs. player ?) match called "Ghost Wars" or something. this game has been out for a good while now and only now they are beta testing an online player versus player option?? that's kind of ridiculous. i remember watching the trailer for in on YouTube and in the comments i read how others were frustrated that it took this long for this feature, while others were stating that they were already done with this game. i have no opinion on this since i don't play online nor have i tried the Ghost Wars beta testing. altogether this is a fun game so far. i enjoy playing it and look forward to going against future bosses.

Wildlands
I recently purchased this game so I am just now getting used to the game. I play Black Op (original) ps3 and the controller is very similar in this game, so that is a favorite. This game is lots of fun and thrilling,after all the reviews I had read I am glad I chose to buy it. I am only playing the campain but it fun. It is an outstanding game. I would recommend it if you like soldier war games. Oh and the graphics are dynomite. Its worth buying.👍👍. Definitely a mature game!

Far cry meets Metal gear
This game has a lot of ideas used in other games, mainly far cry and mgs. Also looks a lot like just cause 3. it's a lot of fun if you like stealth. If you're not into stealth I wouldn't get it. You can go guns blazing but you might find it's not great over the long haul if you only play that way. My main complaint is there aren't nearly enough mission types. Especially considering how long this game is.

Great game, better than COD in a lot of ways!
I enjoyed this game like crazy. It’s insane how every part of the map is interactive, not just a foreshadowed image with a boundary. The map is absolutely huge! Game play is great and I was glued to it until I finally beat the game. It took me a couple of weeks to get used to the controls and game play....then I couldn’t put it down! This comes from a strictly COD gamer in my early 40s.

Fun and Compelling
This game is very fun and has one of the largest open-world maps ever made. It allows for 3rd person game-play and 1st person shooting to appeal to both types of gamers. The story-line seems semi-realistic, though it does has room for improvement. Overall, I feel this is a great game, but it's one of that you either like or don't like. It has a very specific type of play.

Awesome Game
I'm enjoying the gameplay. I love how I can be stealthy but at the same time if I can reckless. You team up with the ai from the start they will help you throughout the missions, you can work together as a team, the ai will back you up, also the rebels can intervene and help you out also.

Good game
Great game all round and fun to play. I have always liked these games in comparison to the COD series. The cover system is not as good as the old Ghost Recon games though. I'm not so sure if the story is good or not as I have just started playing it. Graphic look good but the AI looks dumb so far especially the team members. Car mechanics are poor.

No run & gun with this game.... but lots of fun!
I usually Run & Gun.. but this game requires stealth and careful consideration of surroundings to engage or deter enemy activities. So much more than a story mode game...

Love This Game!!!
Absolutely, love this game. The graphics are great. The realism is pretty good and the "world" is massive. The only down side is that I get stuck playing for hours if you call that a down side.
