Underrated Fairytale
By no means is this top tier, but it's still a great movie. What is lacking in writing is made up for in visual appeal. I did enjoy the directors cut over the US release I grew up with, but there were 2 scenes I still felt should of been kept. The reviving the unicorn to save the world from darkness kinda gets put in the back for the love 'plot' at the end, then they show up at the end. In the US cut, there is an entire scene for bringing back the Stallion. Goldsmith's soundtrack was great in most cases. The Tangerine Dream soundtrack had more of that fantasy feel, which I enjoyed, instead of fairy tale feel of Goldsmith. If there had been some collaboration, I feel the soundtrack would of been spectacular.

So happy to have this DVD set in my collection. Legend is one of my favorite movies of all time and this set is a must have if youre a fan. Hours of bonus material and a better quality picture upgrade. A+++!!!!
