La vie en rose dvd
The disc was horribly damaged. The last half an hour I couldn’t watch at all. It just kept freezing up throughout the whole movie. Terrible to sell a dvd in that condition. It’s wasn’t expensive, but when you can’t watch it, it’s worth nothing. Very disappointed!

The DVD must have been damaged because I...
The DVD must have been damaged because I could not access the subtitles. Since the movie is in French this made it useless for me. I didn't watch enough of it to know if it had other issues.

Enjoyed it More the 2nd Time!
I loved this movie and have been trying to get a hold of it for a while. Her performance was brilliant it is clear to see why she won the Oscar for best actress. Tragic life Edith led but what a voice! Forgot it was french with English subtitles (have to pay more attention!) but well worth watching.

Basically, the tragic story of a woman pursued by ambition and personal tragedy.... more or less the Frendh Judy Garland.
This movie was on my "to do" list for a very, very log time. I was happy to purchase it and pleased wit hhe results of the effort. The product can in a timely fashion and was well packaged... a good value for the price.

A sad but true story!
I have always been fascinated by the story of Édith Piaf. Such a unique voice! Love the performance of Marion Cotillard because I think no other but a French actress could step into such an amazing woman!!

Like watching Piaf's life
Stunning performances particularly of the actress portraying Edith Piaf. Wonderful movie. Edith Piaf is truly one of the great artists and her triumphs and failures are both shown.

Great Expectation
could not watch many scenes because it was took dark. Could not see the actors. The director of this film needs a few more years at the helm learning how to make a movie.
