I GREW UP WITH THE MONKEES
I really liked the show when I was growing up. Our entertainment choices back then were somewhat limited, not like today. It is entertaining and humorous, although if someone hasn't seen The Monkees, they might think it is a little silly and goofy. I think the quality of the DVD is good and I'm very happy with it.

Had to be there
The Monkees were a pre-fab phenomenon whose depth surprised the critics and their contemporary musical greats alike. The series was groundbreaking in several ways and won way more awards than most folks think. If you don;t know "The Monkees" you will likely find the series campy and silly much like the other sixties hits. But if you were there, this is a great set of inexpensive nostalgia all the way to the built in Kellogg's commercials.

The order was just as I expected and even better!!! The DVDs were totally brand new and hadn’t been opened. I’m just so glad to own the 2 whole seasons of Monkees! Thank you so much!!!

The Monkees The Complete Series
Very good price! The entire series was cheaper than two VHS tapes from Columbia House Home Video. The entire series versus four episodes. Prompt free delivery was another plus, I was very happy with this purchase. Michael Nesmith, your music is very appreciated no matter how it may have been presented. I was pleased that they appeared together one last time.

Great Memories
The Monkees dvd from seasons one and two are great collections of all of the episodes. If there is a downer to this, it is that some of the episodes are grainy, but if that matters a new cleaned up blu-ray collection is to be released. However, if you want something more affordable as I did, and just as fun...this is the collection for you.
