A lesser known gem!
While an older film set prior to WWII, I remembered this as an excellent procedural mystery in the "Columbo" style. Kris Kristofferson has an atypical role as a hard bitten but clever detective and the setting is Hawaii. Based on some historical knowledge, I can say it does a decent job of depicting the shabby way "mainlanders" have raped the islands and the indigenous population of their birthright. Worth viewing with several outstanding actors in prominent roles and a number of excellent character actors of yesteryear in supporting roles.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
